Plain Valley Nordic Ski Trails. Conditions have been excellent on this system that grooms up to 16 km of trail (adult passes cost $10/person) Yesterday's report: It's fast out there today! We have groomed fresh skate lanes this morning after some freezing rain last night. Classic tracks are looking good and we left them alone. It is currently 28 degrees. The overnight low was 25 and yesterday's high was 32. It is overcast with no new snow.

Echo Ridge. Date: 1/11/2016, 6 p.m., Temperature: 24 Degrees, Base Snow: 15", trace of new "a skiff". Groomers made double passes with the 7' Ginzu on all trails out of the lower lot, Nuthatch and Alley Oop.
Single pass on Inner and Outer Rim, Big Critter, Lickity Split and Windsinger, with track on Zippdiy, Upsy Daisy and Chickadee. Beautiful conditions.

Leavenworth Winter Sports Trails. 7 a.m., 30F, trace of new.
The Icicle River Trail is OPEN and groomed daily for Nordic Classic and Skate Skiing. The Leavenworth Golf Course is OPEN and groomed for Nordic Skate and Classic Skiing. The Leavenworth Ski Hill Nordic trail is OPEN and groomed for Skate and Classic Skiing. The Leavenworth Ski Hill Tubing and Alpine Skiing are CLOSED today and back to the regular operating schedule.

Stevens Pass Nordic. The Nordic Trails at Stevens have been in great shape over the past few weeks. The Nordic facility is closed Mondays through Wednesdays, which means the trails are not being groomed during this time and will have last been last groomed Saturday night or sometime on Sunday. The parking lot and the trails are accessible to the public at no cost on these days - the trails simply won't be newly groomed. The Nordic facility operates and grooms the trails Thursday through Sundays -- during this time you need a ticket to ski the trails.

    Lake Wenatchee State Park:
We've received no additional new snow since Thursday morning but have had quite a bit of rain so the 4 inches plus we got Wednesday-Thursday is now pretty heavy, wet and just plain cruddy stuff. Yuk............... At 6:30 AM is 29 degrees with a mix of rain and heavy, wet snowflakes with no accumulation.

Echo Ridge: Time: 9:00 am, 34 degrees
New developments on the Echo Ridge road:
Due to safety concerns the Ridge road, too narrow and slick, will be closed
for today. The Forest Service will be clearing the road today/tonight and should have
    it open by tomorrow.
This does not affect the access to the Echo Valley ski area.

Leavenworth Winter Sports Trails: The Icicle River Trail is OPEN and groomed daily for Nordic Classic and Skate Skiing. The Leavenworth Golf Course is OPEN for Nordic Skate and Classic Skiing. The Leavenworth Ski Hill Nordic trail is OPEN and groomed for Skate and Classic Skiing. The Leavenworth Ski Hill Tubing and Alpine Skiing are OPEN today at 3:00PM and back to the REGULAR OPERATION SCHEDULE.
