February 7, 2016. Great conditions for snowshoeing near Blewett Pass today. Solid base with about 4-5" of several day old powder on it. Wind scoured and places of sun crust near the top as one approaches Bojangle Ridge. Skiing would have been good too especially as the crust warmed high on the ridge. Shaded areas would have been fun powder. Beautiful views of the Enchantments, Miller, Earl and Navaho Peaks. Diamond Head was prominent and Mt Rainier showed itself. Lovely pre-Super Bowl outing.
