UPDATE, Wednesday, May 18: Aerial weed spray canceled for Horse Lake Reserve; all trails are open for use.

The Land Trust had an aerial weed spray tentatively scheduled for this week, but it has been canceled. Contractors will be out spraying to apply selective broadleaf herbicides the last week of May using ATVs. The area to be treated is the restoration fields near the two old homesteads at Horse Lake Reserve. While herbicide application will be limited to the restoration fields, and ranch roads and trails will remain open for use, we recommend you keep dogs on a leash when passing through the spray area.
