Just wanted to let you know of the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust's Sage Hills-area trail work party scheduled for this coming Saturday, April 15. We’ll meet at 9 a.m. at the bottom of Horse Lake Road, where the pavement ends. From there, we’ll split into three different groups:
--One group will shuttle up to the Horse Lake Trailhead and work from the Trailhead down Lone Fir Spur, down through ‘The Gut’ area toward the 3 Trail Saddle.
--One group will shuttle to the Sage Hills Drive entrance and work from there toward the 3 Trail Saddle.
--One group will work from the bottom of Horse Lake Road on the Balsamroot Trail and head toward the 3 Trail Saddle.

At the end of the work party, folks can hike out to the end of Maiden Lane and get a shuttle back to the bottom of Horse Lake Road if necessary.

All groups should plan on hiking between 2 and 3 miles, and carrying a handtool. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear, and consider bringing a small daypack with extra layers, water, and space to stock up on snacks! CDLT will supply tools. It should be a fun day out in the fresh green Foothills with spring flowers coming on.
